We offer a start-to-finish program, which includes starting colts and re-tooling older horses. We offer Green As Grass and Rookie lessons on horses in training, as well as a fresh approach for "Seasoned" Non Pros. We are serious about our business, but realize that Non Pros are in the sport to HAVE FUN as they move up the ladder of Reining Competition. We have proven that we can train horses and riders to be competitive at all levels of Reining.

At McCarty Ranch, non pros are encouraged to learn to RIDE their horse, not just sit on them and be told what to do! We believe this is the only way for owner/riders to learn the Reining and enjoy the whole experience. Our students range in age from youth riders through “prime time” eligible, consisting of beginners or “green as grass” through the open non pro. We sincerely hope you will give us a chance to help you and your horse be Reining stars.
